Sixty-five year old gentleman resting comfortably on a left ventricular assist device with severe left ventricular systolic dysfunction awaiting cardiac transplantation. He has severe ischemic left ventricular systolic dysfunction. The patient underwent successful cardiac transplantation.

Clinical History 54
Sixty-five year old gentleman with a nine centimeter thoraco-abdominal aortic aneurysm who is recently status postsurgical repair. The patient has minimal coronary artery disease as ascertained by a recent preoperative cardiac catheterization. This electrocardiogram was obtained during hemodialysis. Ventricular tachycardia developed postoperatively and soon thereafter the patient expired.
