Clinical History 179
Twenty-nine year old gentleman who presented to an outside hospital with a wide complex tachycardia in the setting of perceived intermittent palpitations of one year duration. The patient was placed on intravenous procainamide and he converted to normal sinus rhythm. His resting electrocardiogram demonstrated the Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. He underwent successful radiofrequency ablation of his left posterior ventricular accessory pathway.

Her medications included propranolol. The patient subsequently underwent successful radiofrequency ablation of a right ventricular posteroseptal accessory pathway.

Her cardiac history includes a normal cardiac catheterization prompted by a chest discomfort syndrome two years before this electrocardiogram. There is no clinical history of palpitations, pre-syncope or a prior myocardial infarction.
