Clinical History 33
Forty-five year old gentleman who presented to an outside emergency room with a one-half hour history of acute chest discomfort radiating to both shoulders and hands. The patient underwent urgent cardiac catheterization which demonstrated a 100% proximal right coronary artery occlusion with superimposed thrombus. The patient underwent successful percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty. Cardiac enzymes were positive for acute myocardial injury.
