Forty-three year old gentleman admitted in urgent hospital transfer after a one day history of acute chest discomfort. The patient was taken urgently to the cardiac catheterization laboratory where a 90% mid left anterior descending coronary artery stenosis involving a second diagonal branch was present. The patient underwent successful angioplasty and stent deployment.
