Clinical History 30
Twenty-nine year old gentleman referred for aortic valve surgery in the setting of severe aortic insufficiency secondary to aortic valve prolapse. He is on no current medications. Transesophageal echocardiography demonstrated a bicuspid aortic valve. The patient subsequently underwent successful aortic valve repair.
