Forty-three year old gentleman who presents acutely to the emergency room with a several hour history of chest discomfort consistent with unstable angina. His medications included atenolol and aspirin. The patient underwent a cardiac catheterization and subsequent percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty to his left circumflex coronary artery.
