Forty-three year old gentleman with a six day history of abrupt onset fever and chills, pruritic rash and headache. The patient was seen in the emergency room and subsequently admitted to the hospital. This tracing represented his admission electrocardiogram. His admission serum calcium level was not elevated at 8.9 mg/dl. His serum protein and albumin were both within normal limits.
