Seventy-seven year old woman admitted to the hospital with an acute inferior myocardial infarction who is now referred for coronary artery bypass graft surgery. An echocardiogram confirmed inferoposterior akinesis. Her medications included aspirin, intravenous heparin, intravenous nitroglycerin and metoprolol.
