Seventy-two year old woman with recent onset angina pectoris accepted in hospital transfer for planned coronary artery bypass graft surgery. Her medications included glucotrol, thyroxine, omeprazole, lisinopril andfurosemide. Cardiac riskfactors include non-insulin requiring diabetes mellitus and hypertension.
