Clinical History 56
Thirty-five year old gentleman with a history of hyperlipidemia and obesity who presented emergentlyto the hospital with a several hour history of acute chest heaviness. The discomfort was associated with shortness of breath. A myocardial infarction was subsequently excluded and a cardiac catheterization was normal. The patient was diagnosed with acute pericarditis.
