Thirty-five year old gentleman with a history of hyperlipidemia and obesity

Thirty-five year old gentleman with a history of hyperlipidemia and obesity who presented acutely to the hospital with a several hour history of sudden onset chest heaviness. The discomfort was associated with shortness of breath. A myocardial infarction was excluded and a cardiac catheterization was normal. The patient was diagnosed with acute pericarditis.
