Eighty-nine year old gentleman with no known prior cardiac history who is undergoing preoperative evaluation priorto intended eye surgery. Co-morbid conditions include hypertension and non-insulin requiring diabetes mellitus. His medications included digoxin, captopril and ranitidine.
