Clinical History 280

Fifty-three year old woman admitted to the coronary intensive care unit with a two hour history of chest discomfort. She has a history of hypertension, diabetes and severe peripheral vascular disease. Serial cardiac enzymes confirmed acute myocardial injury and the patient underwent a subsequent cardiac catheterization demonstrating advanced left circumflex coronary artery disease.
