Seventy-four year old gentleman with a history of hypertension, non-insulin requiring diabetes mellitus and hyperlipidemia who presented urgently to the hospital with severe anterior precordial chest discomfort and the above electrocardiogram. The patient underwent an urgent cardiac catheterization and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty of the left anterior descending coronary artery.
